11:00 pm Christmas Candlelight Service Planned At The Wauseon Congregational United Church Of Christ

What are you doing on Christmas Eve this year? The Wauseon Congregational United Church of Christ invites you to welome the Christ Child in the warmth of candlelight and carols at the 11:00 pm service at the corner of Clinton and Elm Streets in Downtown Wauseon.The historic church will be filled with inspiring scripture and music, telling once again the story of the birth of Jesus Christ in a lowly stable. Jim Sauder will accompany the festival choir and congregational singing on the Allen organ. Carisse Boyers will play "Mary Did You Know" and other favorites on her harp. Eli Thomas will be playing "What Child is This" on his violin. Honoring the memory of Franz Guber, Dr. Bill Frank will play "Silent Night" on his guitar. Maryn Mueller, Perry Andre, Pastor Bill Kerr will provide vocal solos to add to the beauty of the traditional annual Christmas Eve Celebration. Seating for the service will begin at 10:45 pm. All Wauseon families, friends, guests from out of town and the surrounding communites are all welcome to share in this service of love and light.
