Homecoming WHS All Class Reunion Planned

With the support of several friends, the WHS Class of 1980 has been organizing and tracking down former Wauseon students and friends for months. We are opening the reunion up to anyone that attended Wauseon schools and friends from the area—not just one class. So, please pass the word on to others.

The Reunion is aligned with the annual Wauseon Homecoming, which is being held July 30, 31, and August 1, 2015. The Class of 1980 wants to make this reunion worth people"s travel and more fun for friends still local to Wauseon, so activities being set over multiple days:

•Thursday evening, we have the open area to gather between Sullivan’s restaurant and Hammontree’s store reserved. We have a guest DJ providing music. So, you can enjoy the Homecoming or spend time meeting with old friends in this area.

• Friday during the day, the plan is for anyone interested to golf at Ironwood.

• Friday evening, we again have the open area to gather between Sullivan’s restaurant and Hammontree’s store reserved along with the guest DJ providing music.

• Saturday evening starting at 5:00 pm, we will be having the reunion at the Rotary Park. We will have the DJ, snacks, drinks (BYOB), and raffle off prizes

Again, this is not just for the class of 1980—it is just sponsored by this group.

• the Class of 1980 are not going to be asking any fees for the evening events—just show up

With that said, we will accept any donations

• the Class of 1980 will also selling raffle tickets, plus if you are able to donate an item for the raffle then please let me know

• Attending and letting others know is your best contribution
